History of the Dudes, Pt. II

Dudes Around the World Always in search of unique experiences and a chance for a road trip, the Dudes have worked well beyond the limits of Lancaster. They've done jobs everywhere from the Jersey Shore to the Big Apple. The Dudes even packed up their brushes and scrapers and traveled overseas to work in the hillsides of England. DUDES IN ENGLAND Traditions PETER (RIGHT) GETS TROPHY FROM BRIAN The highlight of the day is a softball game pairing Brian's team vs. Pete's team. The Dudes extended family grows every year as dozens of employees past and present, plus friends and family come to enjoy the Softball Extravaganza. Knowing that all work and no play makes for a dull Dude, it's important to tap into the fun culture of the Dudes. One such yearly event is the Two Dudes Softball Extravaganza. A Memorial Day festival for family, friends and co-workers is filled with music, laughter and a spirited cookout.   DUDES MEMORIAL DAY PARTY Dude Stuff THREE LITTLE DUDES Of course the Dudes family has grown into the hundreds if you count everyone spotted wearing Dudes clothing. What started with t-shirts for the employees has grown into a full line of clothing and products all with the trade mark Orange Bus on them.  (We made the name big on the back of the shirt so people could see it from the street.) Dudes Today Today the Dudes are one of Lancaster's most well known and respected painting companies. Their full staff of craftsmen has worked on some of Lancaster County's finest homes.  And the dude culture can be summed up in these five points: ANOTHER COMPLETED DUDES JOB Only hire craftspeople who fit into the dude culture. Have the right tools. Preparation is important. Take your time. Have fun.
